An award-winning

The Austrian coat of arms – a prestigious award

The Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth designates the Austrian national coat of arms: An important sign for quality and innovative strength

This is awarded to companies that have rendered outstanding services to the Austrian economy and hold a leading and respected position in their industry. At the moment around 1,400 companies are allowed to use the Austrian coat of arms on business correspondence. One thing is clear: In economically difficult times, quality seals of this kind are more important than ever. They give companies that possess this award a competitive advantage and also serve as a positive incentive for other businesses.

Awards for apprentice training

We see it as our social obligation to give young people a chance to train and gain access to a career. That is why we are particularly proud of the fact that our commitment is repeatedly recognised in various awards.

In 2019 we received the special award "Apprentice Training Centre of Excellence" for exemplary training of young people as part of the "HAUSRUCKVIERTLER", a business award from the province of Upper Austria, the Sparkasse Bank, the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the BNP Accountants as well as the Bezirksrundschau newspaper.

We have been awarded the INEO AWARD for our exemplary apprentice training programme several times. This award, which was established by the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce back in 2013, gives Upper Austrian companies the opportunity to position themselves as high-quality apprentice training centres.

In 2014, WEIGL was awarded the seal of quality "State-awarded training company" for its exceptional performance in apprentice training. We are very pleased about this award and being able to use a second Austrian national coat of arms on our business correspondence from now on.
